Test your data task before choosing an API
Frequently asked questions
How should I test a social data API before scaling up?
Choose a real target, check the current endpoint, fields and price, then complete one small request and a second page if needed. Save the original responses before analysis and inspect the recorded charges. A successful first page does not prove full coverage or future availability.
Can I treat retrieved comments as the complete conversation?
No. Check parent comments, replies, pagination and duplicates separately. Record which pages were retrieved and what remains unavailable. SorHub does not promise that every comment is accessible; check the current endpoint and the actual response before drawing conclusions.
Does an HTTP 200 response mean I received useful data for free if the result is empty?
No. A metered HTTP 200 response delivered successfully can still be billed when the business payload reports a failure or missing resource. Check the price before calling and use the request usage record to inspect the actual charge. If a response is lost, check usage before repeating the request.
What should I check before using SorHub in a production workflow?
SorHub provides endpoint discovery, price checks, REST and MCP access, and request usage records. Test the exact operation, target data, required fields and pagination, then review actual charges. Upstream availability can change, so repeat representative tasks before planning recurring delivery.
Comment researchers: does the returned content answer your question?
To study user opinions, compare accounts or shortlist creators, you need the underlying posts, notes and comments as well as summary metrics.
